the men's 'saloon' a common feature just about anywhere in India. catering to men only, if you're looking for a haircut
like a bollywood idol and an oily 'champi', this is where you should be!
This is the notorious Chor Bazaar, or 'Thieve's Market' in the underbelly of Mumbai. It is a world away from the world. Theives come and sell their acquisitions, mainly in the dead of the night. By morning, this is a thriving market. And you get just about anything.

Time will run out, so be quick

when friends took my camera and photographed

chandni chowk

i guess i have a liking for things decrepit. busy bazaars, crowded streets, old cars, old faces, old buildings in ruins...and Old Delhi's Chandni Chowk is a top favorite.
(these are old pictures from my shoot and throw camera)

HOGG MARKET

This is Hogg Market, or New Market as it is popularly known. Built during the time of the British Raj this market is literally a treasure trove for just about anything. It still fiercely retains its historic roots and refuses to give way to modern structures, modern anything at all!

Buildings are the quiet spectators to the ever changing city.
These buildings in Calcutta came, stayed, observed, decayed, yet retained their innate charm & beauty.
